Sharon Osbourne says daughter Aimée was ‘lucky’ to escape deadly fire at Hollywood recording studio


Television persona Sharon Osbourne is talking out after her daughter Aimée Osbourne was amongst those that escaped a deadly fire at an industrial constructing in Hollywood, California that housed a number of recording studios.

Aimée, who creates electropop music underneath the title ARO, was working along with her producer at one of many recording studios Thursday afternoon when the fire broke out, Sharon shared in an Instagram publish.

“They are the lucky two that made it out alive,” she stated. “What happened today was beyond horrific.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a fire at a two-story constructing within the 6600 block of West Lexington Avenue at round 5:42 p.m. It took about an hour for 78 firefighters to extinguish the fire inside a portion of the two-story constructing.

Edwards recorded, produced and combined music underneath the title Avery Drift.

Jonathan Wellman, who rented a recording area within the constructing down the corridor from Edwards, described the late producer as “a very promising talent” when talking to the Los Angeles Times.

“It is utterly heartbreaking that someone lost their life today in this fire & we are sending our prayers to this person & their family,” Sharon stated in her Instagram publish.

Wellman, Davis and others stated they heard no smoke detectors and noticed no sprinklers go off in the course of the fire.

The reason for the fire stays underneath investigation, however fire officers have filed a constructing code criticism to look into whether or not the constructing had the right permits to function as a recording studio, the Los Angeles Times reported.

In her publish, Sharon described the constructing that burned down as “a creative hub for music in Hollywood, a space that should have been regulated for fire code.”

“I really hope moving forward that buildings like this are better regulated for fire safety,” Sharon stated.

“Once again, our prayers go out to the family and friends of the person that lost their life to this senseless fire,” she added.

Aimée is the eldest daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, higher often known as Black Sabbath’s lead vocalist.

She didn’t participate within the Osbourne household’s well-known actuality TV present in 2002 as her youthful siblings Kelly and Jack Osbourne did.
