Severe Storms Moving Across Oklahoma Producing Strong Winds, Rain

Update 10/24/2022 at 2:05 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Cherokee County till 2:15 p.m.

The NWS stated this storm is close to Scraper, Okla., and is transferring east at 30 MPH.

60 MPH wind gusts have been indicated on radar and Meteorologist Travis Meyer stated the storm has tightened and will produce a twister “very quickly”.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Mayes County till 1:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service says this storm was positioned close to Locust Grove and is transferring northeast at 25 miles per hour.

Radar signifies wind gusts as much as 60 MPH and Meteorologist Travis Meyer stated bushes and powerlines might be knocked out.

Rogers County is underneath a Severe Thunderstorm Warning till 12:45 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has ben issued for Creek, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties till 12:15 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), A extreme thunderstorm was positioned close to Sand Springs transferring northeast at round 40 mph.

The NWS says this storm has the potential to provide 60 mph wind gusts and hailstones upwards of .75 Inches.

A line of robust storms is sweeping by means of the state on Monday.

One storm produced a quick, weak twister spin-up on the west facet of the Oklahoma City metro. The small and weak tornado touched down round 8:28 a.m. simply west of Mustang, Oklahoma.

News On 6 Storm Chasers Tom Pastrano and Von Castor had been on the scene and caught video of the second.
