NEW YORK — Service on the 1/2/3 subway line will be restored in a single day Saturday into early Sunday, Gov. Kathy Hochul mentioned past due Saturday.
Earlier Saturday, the MTA mentioned crews had repaired and moved the subway educate that derailed at 96th Street previous this week.
The governor’s place of work says crews have made upkeep to the tunnel’s monitor and 3rd rail and carried out a security inspection of the tunnel house.
Officials say an out-of-service educate and a 1 educate wearing passengers collided Thursday afternoon. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating what went incorrect.
Since Thursday, the 1/2/3 strains, in addition to the 4 and 5, had been impacted, growing complications for commuters.
