Search for missing Cyril girl now considered a recovery operation

TULSA, Okla. — Investigators say the search for a missing four-year-old is now considered a recovery operation.

Special brokers from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and different legislation enforcement are now looking out Caddo County for her stays.

Athena and her five-year-old sister are associated to Alysia Adams. The women have been in Adams’s care for no less than a 12 months when a postal employee discovered the older girl outdoors the house with no supervision on Jan. 10. The postal employee referred to as police and that is after they began trying for Athena.

Adams faces two counts of kid neglect. Ivon Adams was arrested in Arizona on Jan. 12 and faces one rely of first-degree homicide and one rely of kid neglect. Investigators interviewed the organic mother and father of the women and mentioned they’re cooperating with the investigation.

OSBI is asking the general public to not self-deploy to look for Athena, they warn they may very well be trespassing or may very well be contaminating proof.
