SAPD catches 4 people accused of stealing $20,000-$30,000 worth of copper downtown


(*4*)SAN ANTONIO – Four people have been stuck stealing about $20,000-$30,000 worth of copper from a vacant construction in downtown San Antonio, in keeping with police.

(*4*)The incident took place at round 3 a.m. Friday at a construction at North St. Mary’s Street and Jones Avenue, no longer a long way from Interstate 35.

(*4*)The suspects broke via a fence and accessed the copper twine, which was once underground, police mentioned. They pulled the copper out and loaded it on a truck.

(*4*)Someone in a close-by condominium referred to as 911 after they noticed the suspicious people within the car parking zone.

(*4*)The suspects have been about to power off when officials arrived on the scene.

(*4*)Police stuck the 4 suspects, together with 3 males and one lady, and arrested them. They are dealing with fees relating to the incident.
