Ride share driver reportedly punched in face, car stolen in North Miami

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Police are on the scene of a reported carjacking of a rideshare driver in North Miami.

According to early information entering the Local 10 newsroom, the incident took place at 1202 Griffing Blvd., simply after 5 p.m. Thursday.

It isn’t identified presently if the driver labored for Lyft or Uber, however North Miami Police mentioned that devices spoke back to reviews of a theft.

Initial reviews are that the driver was once punched in the face, and the suspect then took off in the white Toyota Corolla, fleeing on West Dixie Highway.
