Rice and Houston Methodist unveiled the Houston Methodist-Rice University Center for Human Performance throughout a kickoff event Oct. 10.
The 6,000-square-foot facility, situated in Rice’s Tudor Fieldhouse, will permit researchers to mix the science of human motion and illness prevention with new gear from information science, neuroscience and wearable applied sciences and fabrics to advance damage prevention and restoration and strengthen general public well being.
