Report: Missing Texas A&M student found dead in Austin


ABC News reported that Tanner Hoang’s physique was found Saturday.

AUSTIN, Texas — A lacking Texas A&M University student was found dead in Austin, a spokesperson with the College Station Police Department told ABC News.

The physique of lacking 22-year-old Tanner Hoang was found on Saturday, per the report. He went lacking greater than per week in the past. 

ABC News reported it reached out to the Austin Police Department for extra information. 

The Austin Police Department informed KVUE {that a} physique was found close to Pennybacker Bridge on Saturday afternoon, however right now it’s unclear if the physique belongs to Hoang because it has not been recognized.

On Dec. 23, it was reported that Hoang’s automotive was found close to the mountain climbing path resulting in the Pennybacker Bridge in Austin. At that time, authorities had been persevering with their search.

The student was final seen the morning of Dec. 16. ABC reported his household was touring to College Station for his commencement and reported him lacking when he did not present up for lunch earlier than the ceremony. 

Hoang was learning mechanical engineering at Texas A&M.
