Remains identified as missing 4-year-old Oklahoma girl – FOX23 News

Remains recovered in a rural Oklahoma county have been positively identified as 4-year-old Athena Brownfield, authorities mentioned Thursday.

Brownfield, of Cyril, had been missing for a number of weeks. In a quick news release, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation mentioned that the state’s workplace of the chief health worker positively identified the stays recovered on Jan. 17 as Brownfield. The stays have been present in Grady County close to Rush Springs.

The company didn’t elaborate, citing a gag order filed in Caddo County District Court.

“There is no additional comment on the investigation from the OSBI,” the statement read.
