DETROIT — Nissan is recalling greater than 463,000 older automobiles as a result of the emblem on the steering wheel can come loose when the air bag is deployed and injure drivers.
The recall primarily in North America covers sure Frontier small pickups, Titan massive pickups and Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada SUVs from 2008 by 2011. Also included are Quest minivans from 2008 and 2009, in addition to about 11,000 components used for service.

The firm hasn’t developed a restore but. Customers will get an interim letter in early April, adopted by a letter telling them when to go to a supplier for service.
