Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat return as India announce ODI squad for Australia series



The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday night introduced their males’s squad for the upcoming ODI series towards Australia.

Captain Rohit Sharma will miss the primary ODI as a result of household commitments, and in his absence, Hardik Pandya will lead the facet. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, opening batter KL Rahul and quick bowler Jaydev Unadkat made a return to the ODI squad, whereas speedster Jasprit Bumrah continues to be sidelined from India’s fixtures.

Jadeja have proved his health with match-winning performances within the current video games, whereas Rahul had beforehand opted for break to tie the knot along with his girlfriend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty.

Meanwhile, Unadkat might be again within the ODI set-up after nearly ten lengthy years. He final sported the blue jersey in November 2013 towards the West Indies.

Now, Unadkat, Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Umran Malik will kind the Indian tempo assault.

The three-match ODI leg between India and Australia will start in Mumbai on the iconic Wankhede Stadium on March 17, with the second match going down on March 19 in Visakhapatnam. The third and closing ODI might be performed on the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on March 22.
