Police searching for possible armed suspect following Fort Lauderdale kidnapping attempt



FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police are searching for a possible armed suspect this is accused of making an attempt to kidnap a lady in Fort Lauderdale early Saturday morning, government mentioned.

According to Fort Lauderdale police spokesperson Casey Liening, officials gained a choice simply sooner than 5:30 a.m. in connection with a possible kidnapping close to the 100 block of Southwest Second Avenue close to I-95 and Sunrise Boulevard.

Authorities mentioned initial information signifies a person and girl had been inside of a car within the space once they had been approached via some other guy with a gun.

According to Liening, the male sufferer fled the driving force’s seat whilst the feminine sufferer remained within the passenger seat when the male suspect entered the driving force’s seat and drove away within the car with the feminine inside of.

Detectives mentioned a little while later, the car and the sufferer had been positioned on I-95 close to Oakland Park Boulevard.

According to Fort Lauderdale police, the sufferer is being handled for non-life-threatening accidents.

Detectives mentioned the suspect fled the car previous to the arriving of Fort Lauderdale police and has no longer been positioned.
