Plantation child hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself

MIAMI – A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized Friday night after shooting himself.

According to Plantation PD, the shooting occurred within the 5400 block and NW 11 Street.

Investigators mentioned all indicators level to this being an accident.  

The child was taken to a neighborhood hospital in secure situation.
