PILOT POINT, Texas — A former athletic trainer for Pilot Point Independent School District is accused of child grooming, officers say.
The Pilot Point ISD Police Department says 35-year-old Javier Errisuriz was once arrested on Friday, Nov. 10 for allegedly attractive in legal behavior.
Police mentioned on Oct. 30, the dept was once notified of the allegations which dated again to September 2023, involving Errisuriz and a 17-year-old Pilot Point ISD scholar. The district in an instant positioned Errisuriz on administrative depart and police started a legal investigation.
The district fired Errisuriz on Nov. 2 after an inside employment investigation and the continued legal investigation into his alleged movements.
Pilot Point ISD Police persevered their legal investigation with the help of the Pilot Point Police Department – which ended in Errisuriz’s arrest on Nov. 10.
Errisuriz has been booked into the Denton County prison for the offense of TX Penal Cod 15.032 Child Grooming, police mentioned. It’s a third level prison.
Errisuriz was once hired with Pilot Point ISD from July 2023 to November 2023, faculty officers mentioned. Before running at Pilot Point High School, he was once hired at Canyon Lake High in Comal ISD and Keller High School in that district.
Police are asking someone with information relating to Errisuriz movements to touch the Pilot Point ISD Department at 940-686-7380 or the Pilot Point Police Department at 940-686-2969.
Pilot Point ISD could also be asking someone with information relating to any of its staff’ misconduct to file it in an instant.
“Pilot Point ISD believes the safety of students and staff members is a top priority,” the district mentioned in a commentary.
