About 85 individuals attended the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Pre-Holiday Celebration at the Texas African American Museum in Tyler on Saturday.Â
Speakers talked about King’s life, his accomplishments, how his work impacted East Texas earlier than and after his assassination, and easy methods to proceed his legacy. Keynote speaker Greg Muckleroy, TAAM Executive Director Gloria Washington and different audio system stated it is as much as the present era to maintain King’s dream alive.Â
