Pedestrian killed in deadly Central Florida hit-and-run crash, troopers search for vehicle – WFTV


MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in Marion County.

The crash occurred Saturday night time round 11:25 p.m. close to the intersection of State Road 35 and Southeast twenty eighth Street.

Troopers stated an unknown vehicle was touring northbound in the left flip lane on SR-35, south of SE twenty eighth Street.

According to a news launch, a pedestrian was standing in the left flip when the vehicle hit the pedestrian and left the scene.

The pedestrian was pronounced useless on the scene.

Troopers stated the make and coloration of the vehicle are unknown right now.
