We are heartbroken to announce the demise of our pillar to our household, Paul Harlan Bierig. He left this world on the age of 79 on November 15, 2022, surrounded by his loving spouse and household by his aspect in Oklahoma City, OK.
Paul was born, May 18, 1943, in Fairview, OK, to Paul and Lula Bierig. Paul’s father labored for Major County and spent his summers Custom Harvesting. His Mother was a loving spouse and cared for the household and house.
Paul went to High college at Fairview and whereas attending a basketball recreation in Carmen, OK, he met the love of his life, Sherrie Len Estes. Sherrie was from Cherokee, OK, the place Paul and Sherrie would date for 2 years earlier than they married on August 11, 1962.
Throughout the next years, Paul would attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK, finishing his Bachelors Degree and enjoying soccer for the NWOSU Rangers.
The couple ultimately moved to Okeene, OK, in 1969, with their two younger kids, Paul Charles and Pamela Reneigh.
Paul began educating Mathematics on the Okeene High School and, encompassing his love for soccer, turned an assistant soccer coach for the Okeene Whippets.
Paul continued his schooling, finishing his Masters Degree on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK.
For 53 years Paul and Sherrie made their house in Okeene. They have been members of the First Christian Church the place Paul served as a Deacon.
Paul spent his summers Custom Harvesting and ultimately made harvesting a full-time profession. After a number of years of harvesting, Paul semi-retired from touring with the harvest and would keep house chopping the harvest for native farmers till full retirement.
Paul additionally served for 11 years on the Okeene Hospital Board.
Paul and Sherrie celebrated their sixtieth anniversary this previous August of 2022.
Paul was preceded in demise by his mother and father, Paul and Lula Bierig, and his sister, Gloria Fawcett.
Paul is survived by his spouse Sherrie Bierig of Okeene; son Paul Charles Bierig and spouse Joleen Bierig of Plano, TX; daughter Pamela Reneigh Cosby of Yukon, OK; brother Darrel Bierig and spouse Nancy Bierig of Oklahoma City, OK.
Paul can also be survived by and liked his grandchildren, Randi Paige Hurst of Honolulu, HI; MacKenzie Morris of Oklahoma City, OK; Sarah Higdon of Stillwater, OK; Aiden Bierig of Norman, OK.
Paul can also be survived by and treasured his great-grandchildren, Drew Leigh Cosby, Caden Morris, Cameron Morris and Parker J. Hurst.
A Celebration of Life will likely be held at a later date to be introduced by the household. The burial providers will likely be held on the Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
