Panthers’ Chandler Zavala taken to hospital to be evaluated for neck injury after scary collision vs Lions

The Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions huddled round Chandler Zavala, kneeling in silence because the rookie offensive lineman used to be down at the box for greater than 5 mins and taken off on a stretcher following a scary collision in Sunday’s recreation. 

Zavala collided with Isaiah Buggs and laid at the floor for a number of mins. A brace used to be placed on his neck as he used to be strapped down to save you any motion, per the Detroit News. As Zavala used to be taken off on a stretcher, he raised his arm with a thumbs up with thunderous applause from the group at Ford Field. 

After the collision with Buggs, the Lions cross rusher right away signaled to the running shoes for clinical assist. Zavala used to be taken to the hospital to be evaluated for a neck injury, per a Panthers spokesperson.
