The Oklahoma City Thunder introduced on Monday that they’ve assigned rookie ahead Ousmane Dieng to the G League’s OKC Blue.
Following their win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday, Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault revealed that Dieng was going to get assigned to the Blue within the close to future in a pre-planned transfer.
Dieng has appeared in 5 NBA video games since coming back from a wrist fracture. In these 5 video games, Dieng averages 3.6 factors, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 13 minutes.
With Dieng not getting constant minutes with the Thunder, this task is probably going to give him enjoying time as he continues to discover a rhythm since his return.
In 19 video games with the Thunder, the 19-year-old is averaging 4.2 factors, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
