OSBI: Man shot after pointing gun at deputy, wife

HASKELL COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are wanting into an officer-involved taking pictures in Haskell County.

Around 1 p.m. on Dec. 7, a Haskell County deputy was referred to as to a house alongside E. Hwy 9 in Stigler after dispatchers acquired a 911 name about threats being made.

The feminine caller stated that her husband was threatening to kill her and was loading a gun at that second.

When the deputy arrived at the house, he was met by the lady.

However, he additionally noticed 62-year-old Charlie Brown down the corridor with an extended gun, pointed within the path of the feminine and the deputy.

Investigators say the deputy moved the lady out of the way in which and fired his weapon at Brown, hitting him twice.

Brown was taken to a hospital and was handled and launched. He was then arrested on complaints of pointing a firearm and assault on an officer.

The investigation is ongoing.
