The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating after a person was shot and killed by police Saturday night time in McAlester.
Police stated they responded to a psychological well being disaster name close to 1900 Green Meadows Dr. round 8 p.m.
Once officers arrived on scene, police say the person was armed with a carbine rifle and he refused to drop it when commanded.
The OSBI says officers then shot the person and rendered assist till he was taken to the hospital, the place he was pronounced useless.
Police have not recognized the person they usually say no officers have been injured within the capturing.
The OSBI stated a loaded carbine rifle and high-capacity journal have been recovered from the scene.
