Indian batting sensation Suryakumar Yadav was at his best in the second T20I towards New Zealand at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Sunday. Surya took Blackcaps bowlers to the cleaners, hitting at a jaw-dropping strike charge of 217.65.
Surya smashed a blazing century and remained unbeaten on 111 with the assist of 11 fours, seven sixes as India posted a mammoth whole of 191/6 in their allotted overs. In reply, the hosts received bundled out for a mere 126, dropping the contest by 65 runs.
After the recreation, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson lavished praises on the Indian famous person and termed Surya’s knock as one of the best he’s ever seen.
