OVERVIEW
The #17 Men’s Soccer group entered the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with a face off towards Bethany College on November 5th in Bartlesville. Winning the KCAC Regular Season title, the Eagles entered the event seeded #1 of #8.
The Eagles performed 2 video games following the recreation towards Bethany and took house the KCAC Tournament Championship in Wichita, Kansas.
HIGHLIGHTS
Quarterfinal v. Bethany: 1-0 Win
Semifinal v. McPherson: 1-0 Win
Championship Game v. Saint Mary: 3-0 Win
Credited the win over Bethany, Stefan Cventanovic scored the solely objective of the recreation, whereas Matheus Ferriera scored the successful objective of the semifinal recreation towards McPherson.
During the championship match-up with Saint Mary, the Eagles rose above and outscored Saint Mary 3-0. Scoring all 3 targets and giving himself a hat-trick, Zlatan Ramic was excellent for the Eagles and led them to a championship title.
With the win over Saint Mary, the Eagles earned the title of 2022-2023 KCAC Regular Season and Tournament Champions.
UPCOMING EVENTS
With the 1st place end, the Eagles acquired an computerized bid into the NAIA National Tournament and are set to play Corban College November 17th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
