STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State soccer safety Kendal Daniels was named to the FWAA’s 2022 Freshman All-America Team on Thursday.
The newest recognition provides to an inventory of honors for Daniels, who has already been named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, a second crew All-Big 12 choice, a College Football News Freshman All-American and a primary crew Academic All-Big 12 choice.
Daniels performed in all 13 video games for Oklahoma State this season and made 5 begins as a redshirt freshman. He recorded 71 complete tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 5 go breakups and a compelled fumble.

Daniels ranked fourth amongst all FBS freshman with three interceptions and was fifth with a median of 5.5 tackles per recreation.
This marks the second straight 12 months that Oklahoma State has had a participant on the FWAA Freshman All-America Team, as defensive finish Collin Oliver was included on the 2021 crew.
Daniels can be the second Oklahoma State participant in two years to earn the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year Award, following within the steps of Oliver, who obtained the honour following a powerful season in 2021.
