Oklahoma police officer in critical condition after high speed pursuit crash | KSNF/KODE

COMMERCE, Okla. – A Commerce police officer was admitted to a Joplin hospital Saturday evening in critical condition following a high speed pursuit, in line with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Vernon Moyer, 39, of Commerce, was touring north on County Road S 560 about two miles north of Commerce at a high price of speed in pursuit of a car after initiating a site visitors cease, the patrol mentioned.

The brakes on the 2018 Dodge Charger failed and Moyer’s car ran off the highway and crashed right into a ditch, the patrol mentioned.

Moyer was admitted to Mercy Hospital in critical condition with trunk and arm accidents, the patrol mentioned.

The crash occurred round 8 p.m. on Saturday.
