Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board recommends clemency for death row inmate James Coddington – 102.3 KRMG


OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board advisable clemency for a death row inmate convicted of killing a co-worker nearly 25 years in the past.

James Coddington was sentenced to death for the 1997 homicide of 73-year-old Albert Troy Hale on the sufferer’s house in Oklahoma County. Prosecutors stated Coddington beat Hale within the head with a hammer and robbed him after Hale refused to mortgage Coddington cash to purchase cocaine.

Coddington’s listening to was scheduled for final week, however the Pardon and Parole Board rescheduled it to Wednesday due to a battle.
