Oklahoma Linebacker David Ugwoegbu Enters Transfer Portal

The Oklahoma Sooners are reportedly set to lose a veteran piece of their protection for the upcoming season.

Senior linebacker David Ugwoegbu is coming into the switch portal, in accordance with a report from On3’s Matt Zenitz.

Ugwoegbu began all 13 video games for the Sooners this previous season, ending second on the crew with 110 complete tackles, together with 7.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He ranked fourth within the Big 12 in tackles per recreation, and completed the season as an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention choice by the league’s coaches.

Ugwoegbu was a staple on this protection in current seasons, taking part in in 50 profession video games (together with 37 in a row), with 20 begins beneath his belt.

With Ugwoegbu’s departure, Danny Stutsman and Kanak are more likely to paved the way as Oklahoma’s beginning linebackers subsequent season, with Indiana switch Dasan McCullough more likely to take over the cheetah place for Brent Venables’ protection.
