Oklahoma deputy shot and killed while serving eviction papers, police say


An Oklahoma deputy who was shot while serving eviction papers has died, police stated Monday.

Two deputies had been shot earlier Monday outdoors a southwest Oklahoma City residence while serving a lockout order, which is a part of the eviction course of, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office stated on Facebook.

Sgt. Bobby Swartz later succumbed to his accidents, police stated. 

The sheriffs workplace stated it was mourning “The loss of a good man”

“Please keep the family of Sgt. Bobby Swartz in your prayers. Bobby was killed this afternoon serving lockout paperwork,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.

The different deputy was in steady situation as of Monday night.

The suspect was arrested close to an area Air Force base after a high-speed chase. A spokesperson for Tinker Air Force Base stated that the members of the 72nd Air Base Wing Security Forces helped native regulation enforcement apprehend the suspect close to the bottom’s principal gate.

“Our condolences and prayers go out to the members of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department and the families of the officer who lost his life today and the officer who was injured,” the spokesperson stated.

The suspect within the taking pictures was not instantly recognized.
