According to NBC News, Jesse O’Dell went to a Tulsa Starbucks and ordered two coffees for $11.83.
Later within the day, his spouse’s bank card was declined whereas procuring.
That’s when he says he discovered that he was charged a $4,444.44 tip on his invoice at Starbucks.
The couple known as their bank card firm, however had been informed they couldn’t dispute the cost as a result of it was “legitimate.”
O’Dell says Starbucks despatched him checks to reimburse the expense, however these checks bounced. As a results of the fiasco, he says he needed to cancel a household vacation.
