Oklahoma County driver caught going 117-120 mph in 70 mph zone

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – The (*70*) Highway Patrol says a driver is now left with a hefty effective Wednesday after a Trooper caught them rushing over 100 mph on I-40.

According to OHP, Trooper Heath Ragland noticed the motorist driving a Honda Accord on I-40 between Choctaw and Peebly roads Wednesday morning.

Ragland received the pace on radar at 120 mph and locked it in at 117 mph, mentioned OHP. The posted pace restrict is 70 mph.

He was given a $449 ticket.
