OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A Southwest Oklahoma City man was beaten and doused in lighter fluid after two males broke into his residence early Thursday morning. The sufferer will be seen on residence surveillance footage screaming and working by way of his yard after making a outstanding escape.
Derek Swingle woke as much as a nightmare. At about 1:30 a.m. Thursday he was quick asleep at his residence close to Southwest thirteenth Street and Mckinley Avenue when two burglars broke in and began beating him.
“They were trying to rob my place, but they never gave me a chance to actually even show them what they were after,” he mentioned. “They just hit me. They were demanding stuff.”

“It was all kinds of commotion,” Swingle defined. “Every time I tried to look I’d get pummeled in the face.”
