Attorney General Gentner Drummond has filed a movement with the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals to permit for extra time between executions.
In an announcement from Drummond’s workplace, Drummond stated the present tempo of executions is unsustainable in the long term.
“It is unduly burdening the Department of Corrections and its personnel,” Drummond stated.

If authorised, the upcoming executions scheduled for death-row inmates akin to Richard Glossip could be pushed again by 60 days.
