OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A gown created by an Oklahoman made an look in the course of the Super Bowl.
According to Oklahoma CareerTech, the high-low gown coated in steel triangles paired with a singular white hat appeared in a 90-second Doritos commercial that includes Jack Harlow.
Corey Martin created the gown designed by Trayce Field. Martin stated he discovered the right way to sew in his household and client science class at Okeene High School. He later graduated from Fort Cobb-Broxton High School and majored in musical theater and costume design on the University of Central Oklahoma.
Martin now works as a customized tailor for Motion Picture Costumers IATSE Local 75.
“In FCS I developed as a leader and a communicator,” he stated. “These skills have become very valuable in my adult life, both professionally and personally.”
Officials say Martin talked about how the FCS co-curricular pupil group, then referred to as Future Homemakers of America, taught him elementary life abilities like the right way to deal with his financials. FHA, now referred to as Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, offered Martin with the self-assurance to be a frontrunner to his colleagues.
“I often serve as a leader in whatever costume shop or production I am working on,” he stated. “If I had not developed my sewing skills and the leadership qualities I learned in FHA, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Oklahoma CareerTech says Martin now lives in Burbank, California. Looking again, Martin says the most important lesson he discovered in FCS and FHA was to understand others. He talked about the essential of getting mates and friends within the theater trade, which he has developed over the previous a number of years.
