OK Opry’s “New Year’s Eve Eve” Fundraiser & Concert set for Dec. 30 | Arts & Entertainment

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma ventriloquist, singer, actress and 2017 America’s Got Talent winner, Darci Lynne returns for her final present of 2022 for the Oklahoma Opry’s finish of the 12 months fundraiser on Friday, December 30.

Darci Lynne and pals will carry out  on the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63rd Street, in Oklahoma City. Museum and galleries open at 5 p.m.,VIP Dinner at 6 p.m., program at 7 p.m.

That night, Oklahoma Cultural Treasure, Queen of Rockabilly and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, Wanda Jackson will likely be honored with the Wanda Jackson Trailblazer Award. The award in her title will then be given yearly to an individual who has been a trailblazer of their subject.

Independent pop artist and songwriter Josh Roberts grew up on the Opry stage in Nashville writing, performing, recording, and touring the nation enjoying backup for different artists.  Roberts now resides in Oklahoma City the place his current venture of unique music has been launched song-by-song.

Brother and sister duo Kyle & Amanda Earhart have carried out collectively and as solo artists their total lives. 1) Granville Community Music School offers high quality music classes to youngsters from low earnings households for 50 cents per lesson.

2) Guitars for Vets, OKC chapter offers 10 free guitar classes to veterans who upon completion obtain a brand new guitar and all equipment from the nationwide Guitar for Vets group. OHFO will likely be increasing to Tulsa and Muskogee in 2023.

3) Oklahoma Opry, Oklahoma’s Official Country Music Show has introduced OKC household pleasant, dwell music leisure on Saturday nights for over 45 years.
