Indian Super League (ISL) aspect, Odisha FC have reached an agreement with Josep Gombau to take over as the head coach for the boys’s senior crew forward of the upcoming 2022/23 season, with the Spaniard agreeing to a two-year deal.
This deal marks the return of Gombau to Odisha after a two-year absence with the 46-year-old initially signing for them in 2019, the place he turned a fan favorite primarily based on his model of play.

“Josep, he produces good footballing teams. His teams play good football. If we give the ball away to them, we know they’ve got the capability of looking after it. We always need to be switched on against them,” Former Chennaiyin boss and Hero ISL 2017-18-winning head coach John Gregory as soon as commented on Gombau.
