Rep Torres: “Appeasing antisemitism by no means works”
US Rep. Ritchie Torres, who represents much of the Bronx borough of New York City in the House of Representatives, also weighed in via a post to X on Sunday.
“The disaster at Columbia University underscores the pressing want for ethical readability in opposition to antisemitism,” Torres wrote.
“College directors will have to get started protecting their Jewish constituents and scholars and prevent pandering to the antisemites who search their destruction.”
