Longing for a “true Texas feel”, the couple determined the Sisterdale Dancehall and Opera House in Boerne offered the proper backdrop for his or her marriage ceremony.

“I was giddy. I had a little case of butterflies,” Suchan says in regards to the marriage ceremony day. “I walked around the venue, and I got goosebumps. I thought ‘wow, it’s happening.'”

Amber says she felt very excited to “finally seal the deal.”

The Texas rustic really feel with a contact of class was not the one factor to finish the Lone Star nuptials. The bride and groom additionally had a barbecue buffet for the intimate ceremony for just a little greater than 100 folks.

Among the friends have been TV station co-workers together with former News 4 anchor Randy Beamer who had the honour of officiating the couple’s ceremony.

“Before he retired, we were talking at the news desk earlier on,” Suchan explains. “Randy had thrown out a comment that he was licensed ordained for weddings. I love Randy like a brother and Amber does too, so we just jumped in.”

Suchan went on to say that “in true Beamer fashion, he was a beautiful blend of comedy and tear-jerking in sharing our wedding story.”

As husband and spouse, the couple shared their first dance collectively to the tune of Blake Shelton’s “God Gave Me You,” with the Paul Nathaniel Band.

“I actually picked it,” Amber says of the track. “We never really had a song when we were together. I figured it was kind of perfect on how we got together. The work that it took to get to the love we have.”

“The words to that song really sum up our paths in life,” Suchan echoed. “It’s not our first rodeo. The song sort of complimented the love we have for each other.”

The meteorologist says he knew instantly that he needed to spend endlessly with Amber.

“We had great conversations, talking about science, talking about life,” he tells MySA. “And she had these two beautiful boys, I thought, ‘Well son of a gon, maybe it’s a destiny of mine to help raise these boys.'”

“It took me a little bit of time. I had three jobs at the time and taking care of two boys by myself,” Amber says. “After some time, it finally worked out where we could spend more time together. He’s just an amazing person. He’s a sweetheart to me and to the boys.”

The couple was supposed to wed in 2020 however determined to push it again to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed to ensure family and friends have been capable of attend their special occasion.
