NEW YORK (Reuters) – CoinEx was sued on Wednesday by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who accused the cryptocurrency exchange of transacting enterprise with out registering with the state.
In a grievance filed with a New York state courtroom in Manhattan, James mentioned CoinEx’s actions violated the Martin Act, a robust state regulation used to combat monetary fraud.
