New video shows Miami Beach ex-HOA president’s vandalism spree, residents say


MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Following his arrest over the weekend, newly-obtained surveillance video allegedly shows the previous president of a apartment affiliation on South Beach slashing tires and looking to set a truck on fireplace again in April.

Miami Beach police cuffed Marc Joseph Maggisano, 34, on Sunday after accusing him of sending a number of threatening textual content messages to a board member of 363 Washington Ave. and looking to set the truck ablaze again in past due April.

Residents of the apartment within the town’s South of Fifth community say Maggisano was once a threat and say the video shows him slashing tires, breaking home windows and looking to mild a resident’s Ford Ranger pickup truck on fireplace.

The arson try led to $7,500 in injury to the pickup truck, an arrest document states.

“(He seemed) like an ideal resident, was looking to do things to improve, you know the safety of the building and whatnot,” one resident, who requested to not be known, mentioned. “And then from one day to another, it just started to be manic, flips over and over and over again.”

After Maggisano seemed in courtroom Monday, he was once given a $12,500 overall bond on fees of tried arson, making written threats and legal mischief.
