Nearly $1.6 million in stolen liquor found in Hialeah



HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Florida deputies have arrested a person they are saying stole just about $1.6 million price of liquor from a warehouse in Hillsborough County.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Miguel Angel Artiles Rivas, 33, and say they’re searching for one different particular person believed to be concerned.

Detectives have issued an arrest warrant for Ruth Melly Cardero, 54, for her involvement in the robbery.

According to an arrest file, Between July 7, 2023, and July 10, 2023, a gaggle of suspects entered a liquor distribution heart in Gibsonton, FL. During that length, the suspects got rid of roughly $1.6 million of liquor from the warehouse using a minimum of two semi-trailers.
