National Weather Service Releases Tornado Ratings For Feb. 26 Outbreak

The National Weather (*26*) launched rankings on the Enhanced Fujita Scale for 5 tornados from the outbreak on Sunday.

The tornados surveyed consisted of three EF1 and two EF2 tornados.

The first storm to the touch down occurred at 8:57 p.m. Sunday. It was an EF1 that started round three miles west of Tuttle, and traveled 11 miles ending west-northwest of Mustang.

The second storm, an EF2, started at 9:09 p.m. two miles northeast of Cole, and traveled 26 miles ending 3 miles northeast of Stella.

While that storm ran it is course, an EF1 began at 9:12 p.m. 4 miles east-northeast of Mustang, and ended at 9:18 p.m., having travelled 5 miles ending about 2 miles east-southeast of Bethany.

The fourth storm started at 9:42 p.m. 2 miles south-southeast of Newalla, and travelled 6 miles ending 2 miles north-northwest of Dale.

The final storm was an EF2 that started at round 9:45 p.m. 3 miles south-southwest of Aydelotte. That storm travelled 6 miles ending 2 miles south-southeast of Meeker.
