HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Viewers of News Channel 8 submitted a putting safety digicam video Sunday of a lightning bolt exploding the ground outdoors of a Sebring residence over the weekend.
Denice Murphy mentioned her husband Rod was outdoors turning off the sprinklers forward of some forecasted rain Saturday morning when a lightning bolt struck mere yards away from him.
Their Ring safety digicam captured the putting second on digicam.
In the video, the bolt will be seen sending chunks of red-hot earth a number of ft into the air. Luckily, Rod didn’t seem like injured.
News Channel 8 is working to seek out the extent of the injury.
