Multiple Meet Records Broken as Texas Tech and Oklahoma State Claim 2023 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Titles

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Oklahoma State ladies’s staff and the Texas Tech males’s staff have been topped the champions of the 2023 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship that was held at Texas Tech’s Sport Performance Center. The Cowgirls captured their first Big 12 Indoor staff title whereas the Red Raiders claimed their third Big 12 staff title.

Oklahoma State totaled 146 factors to take the win. Texas completed second with 136 factors whereas Oklahoma (99.5), Texas Tech (93.5) and Iowa State (59) completed within the high 5.

Texas Tech led the lads’s groups for many of Saturday after claiming the highest 4 locations within the 60-meter run whereas claiming three different first-place finishes. The Red Raiders scored 159 factors, adopted by the Cowboys’ 111 factors. Texas (105), Kansas (96) and Iowa State (76) rounded out the highest 5 groups.
