Motorcyclist dies in collision with box truck near Fort Lauderdale


FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the demise of a motorcyclist they stated collided with a box truck on Monday in unincorporated Broward County, near Fort Lauderdale.

BSO stated it occurred at round 9:08 a.m., when the motorcyclist, recognized as Bradford Schilling, was using a 2001 Suzuki SV650, and touring northbound in the middle lane of Northwest thirty first Avenue approaching Northwest eleventh Street.

Authorities stated that on the identical time, Raymond Thompson was touring southbound on Northwest thirty first Avenue in a 2017 Hino 258 box truck and made a left flip onto Northwest eleventh Street pulling into the trail of the bike.

A preliminary investigation reveals that Schilling tried to brake and keep away from hanging the box truck. 

Schilling was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, the place he later died.
