MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A confrontation led to a lethal taking pictures in southwest Miami-Dade late Sunday afternoon.
Miami-Dade police stated round 5:30 p.m. they acquired a ShotSpotter alert within the 10600 block of SW one hundred and seventieth Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 32-year-old Edwin Molina who had been shot. He was taken to Jackson South Trauma Center the place he died.
Molina’s mom Linda Taylor stated she was surprised when she acquired phrase that he had died.
“I would like to get some answers. I would like to know what happened. I would like to know what provoked the situation,” she stated.
Taylor stated she didn’t perceive how this might occur and why her son was concerned.
“He was a hard-working kid. He wasn’t bad. He never had any problems with the police. No drugs, nothing like that. He was a locksmith and he was working,” she stated.

A 26-year-old man accused of taking pictures Molina with a shotgun was detained for questioning.
“We’re trying to figure out exactly what happened in this altercation and why a firearm was presented and obviously fired,” stated Miami-Dade police spokesman Luis Sierra.
So far he has not been charged within the taking pictures.
“It’s just crazy what’s going on with all this violence. He was only 32. He was just 32-years-old and now he was gone and for what,” questioned Taylor.
After questioning, the 26-year-old was taken to an area hospital for an involuntary medical analysis.

Initial experiences indicated that the taking pictures might have concerned a house intruder, that is nonetheless below investigation. Taylor believes her son may’ve been working as a locksmith when he was shot.
