Miami man accused of beating 5-year-old boy for watching ‘PAW Patrol’



MIAMI – Police arrested a Miami man on a prison kid abuse warrant Tuesday for beating his female friend’s 5-year-old son for watching the youngsters’s display “PAW Patrol” in 2022, in step with an arrest record; they are saying he informed the boy the display used to be “for girls.”

Police stated the incident took place on Dec. 26, 2022 at a house on Northwest Seventh Place in Miami’s Liberty City group.

A witness informed police that Keyyun Bryant, now 36, grabbed the boy “super hard” on his arm prior to telling him that the display used to be “for girls,” the record states.

The sufferer, all the way through a forensic interview, informed personnel individuals on the University of Miami Child Protection Team that Bryant grabbed him on his proper arm and “scratched” him and “wrapped both his hands around his neck and told him he was going to take him to jail,” the record states.

The witness informed the Child Protection Team that Bryant “came into the room while her and the victim were watching ‘PAW Patrol’ and grabbed the victim by the arm, neck, and hit him in the back of the head because the victim was in the ‘girls room,’” police stated.

Miami Police Department Felony Apprehension Team detectives situated Bryant Tuesday within the space of Northwest thirteenth Avenue and sixtieth Street, the record states.

Police stated he informed detectives he would watch over the youngsters whilst his female friend went to paintings, however denied harming the boy and stated the kid’s organic father has lodged false allegations towards him prior to now.

Bryant used to be being held within the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of Wednesday afternoon. His bond used to be indexed as “to be set” and he used to be being held for a Justice of the Peace.
