Miami-Dade high school student arrested over shooting threats, judge orders mental health evaluation


MIAMI – A student used to be within the custody of Miami-Dade corrections on Saturday morning after he threatened to devote mass homicide at Booker T. Washington Senior High School in Miami’s Overtown community, information display.

Police officials arrested Garcia after a witness reported studying the threats that he allegedly wrote in a pocket book. In one, Garcia allegedly drew a stick determine shooting a gun and wrote, “Everyone deserves to die.”
