FORT LAUDERDALE – There was a big police presence at McArthur High in Hollywood early Friday afternoon as the varsity was placed on lockdown.
At least a dozen Hollywood police officers have been despatched to the varsity. Chopper4 overhead noticed officers enter the campus with their weapons drawn.
They went constructing to constructing and several other officers have been seen getting into transportable lecture rooms. Â
Pines Boulevard in entrance of the varsity was closed to site visitors.
The college district mentioned in a press release that:
“Law enforcement is currently at the school after a call was received alerting of a possible emergency incident on campus.
McArthur High and West Hollywood Elementary School are on Lockdown status while police investigate.”
