Massive tornado rips through Fort Lauderdale Beach


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – There had been stories of a tornado in South Florida on Saturday, and a few of it used to be stuck on digicam by way of Local 10 audience.

On social media, a couple of observers posted mobile phone video of a tornado transferring over the water on Fort Lauderdale Beach, taken from more than a few angles.

The National Weather Service despatched a tornado alert round 5:45 p.m. and has noticed stories and radar indicating that the tornado used to be noticed close to Federal Highway and Las Olas Boulevard.

Local 10 audience have reported seeing energy flashes and heavy winds within the house.

Todd Sabata despatched mobile phone video to Local 10 News of the tornado hurtling east of downtown Fort Lauderdale.

No accidents were reported because of the typhoon as of Saturday night time.

It is unclear what number of people are affected by energy outages right now.
