A sprawling U.S. Marine Corps coaching middle within the Southern California desert was put on lockdown Monday on account of a report of photographs fired, a spokesperson stated.
The report was nameless and there was no fast affirmation of whether or not photographs truly have been fired, stated Gunnery Sgt. Santiago Colon, a spokesman for the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms.
Capt. Zachary Colvin, spokesman for the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, informed Marine Corps Times, “Out of an abundance of caution, (police) have advised personnel to shelter in place and stay indoors.”
An nameless report was made to the base at roughly 9:00 a.m. native time of photographs fired, Colvin informed Marine Corps Times. The lockdown was nonetheless in impact as of 12:22 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department models have been on the scene and coordinating with navy legislation enforcement on the base, stated sheriff’s Lt. Jess Allison.
